Healthy Eating Plan Comparison

I did not realize how poor my eating habits are until the week one checkpoint. My health is
above average because I take care of my body physically, but my health will decrease faster
without the proper nutritional supplements. Food is important for the body because food will
help fight diseases, energy levels will remain above average, and fatigue will occur more slowly.
The eating habits I possess can cause me to suffer issues relating to poor digestion, clogged
arteries, and heart disease, to name a few. As time passes, eating differently becomes an
extremely important factor to maintain a healthy body both inside and out.
The older a person becomes increases the risks for health issues if proper dieting does not
occur. My age is nearing the middle and will always change, but through the years my eating
habits do not seem to change all that much. According to my week one eating plan my eating
habits are very poor. My eating habits include skipping meals, eating greasy fatty foods such as
fast food, eating chips and snack cakes, and trying to replace lost meals by over-eating during
one sitting. These habits seem to occur through the years with little to no change and some times
my body will tell me through discomfort that change must occur. I think I will always eat fast
food, but I notice my fast food intake level does slightly decrease as time passes. If I skip meals I
miss approximately four total meals per week rather than approximately eight total meals per
week and I do not over-eat to replace meals. I live a fast lifestyle and sometimes fast is not
always the best answer.
I believe one reason changes do not occur with my eating habits is that time is not always on
my side. Sometimes my work days will contain between 10 and 12 hours providing me with little
