From its foundation in 1995 eBay have not let grow, being today a serious and solid company in the sector of Internet with more than 16,000 employees in 38 countries and that quote in the Nasdaq.
The strategy of eBay to sustain its growth one was based on 3 elements:
Category; To extend its existing commercial platform within the product categories with new categories and local geographic expansion as as much international.
Formats: To continue with the presentation of price formats, like the sales of fixed prices, Dutch auctions, classified stores of eBay and lists. Also, to expand the services of value added with the purpose of offering a personal commercial service for the end user with diverse services previous and later to the transaction, to improve the experience of the user and to facilitate the commerce.
Geography: To continue the development of markets in the United States and that uses Internet to create an efficient commercial platform in local markets, national and abroad international that can be transformed into a functional and really global commercial platform.
