Compare this to 11.5 percent dedicated to MySpace.com and it becomes obvious that pornography is a


dominating force on the internet. At first glance it may seem that internet pornography does not affect


you if you don't make it a habit of visiting such websites, but this subject has many far reaching


consequences than at first be apparent.


  Consider a child sitting at a computer researching his homework. After typing in a seemingly


innocuous term on Google.com, a perversion in terms leads him to one of the internet's more


unscrupulous web sites. His innocence is blown. This could potentially scar his view of love-making,


and perhaps shape his future attitude towards it. This scene is being played out daily. Children are


learning warped sex education through the internet instead of from home or school.


  The children are not the only causalities of internet pornography. Many households have been torn


apart because of a husbands secret online activities. Consider a man with an addiction to pornography


spending countless hours, not to mention money, surfing for his daily fix. This behavior can lead to


unreal expectation of his wife and then, perhaps to prostitution. He has created a kind of double life


that can come to no good end. His sickness is unending. His family, the causality,


  In pornography women are objectified and expected to satisfy a mans every desire, no matter how


perverted or degrading it may be. This creates unreal expectations and a very unhealthy attitude for


those who watch it. The result can be a man pursuing unprotected sex with multiple partners, in


attempt to fulfill a fantasy he has developed watching pornography.
