EGYPT
The great Egyptians build a world wonder or two and had a good run. Some great leaders ruled like Hatshepsut and Ramses; a diplomat and warlord both amazing leaders who changed Egypt greatly, however a bad leader like Cleopatra ended Egypt. This empire had a long run before falling to the hands of Alexander the Great. The Egyptians had a great military and economic structure.
Daily life for Egypt was based on social level or skill if you were royal you would attended school and be well rounded leaders. If you were poor you would have to do mindless tasks for nearly no money until you can pay for apprenticeship then you can be in a job field. Egypt wasn’t work and no play. For recreation kids would play games like Senet or swim in the Nile during the low Nile season. The Egyptians would eat things like fish or any edible vegetation along the Nile. The daily life in that culture is less complicated than our culture today.
The government in Egypt was a king priest change up the priest would rule if the king died. Democracy was not even thought of. In my opinion the best diplomat ruler was Hatshepsut she opened trade to Punt and caused a wave of wealth for Egypt. The overall worst leader has to be Cleopatra She murdered innocents and made things just terrible. These two leaders caused praise and cursing to woman.
This polytheism was a complicated one they believed that gods had the head of an animal and a body of a human. Priest said they could interpret the word of the gods, and kings would say they were chosen for the job. The thousand of gods they would call upon and I can name a fraction of them. There’s Bastet, Sobek, Amon, Ra, AmonRa, Hathor, and Horus.
Architecture was the biggest thing in this empire. They built the pyramids and the obelisks. The houses were structured to be like apartments the street names were named after anything from what they looked like or the names of roots. The famous architecture was everything to this...
