The Legacies of Egyptians
The Egyptians left behind legacies that we have reformed in today’s society. The Egyptians made hieroglyphics as their form of writing and communicating with one another. The also made jewelry from the gold that was found by them in Egypt. Their jewelry and ornaments they made was very symbolic and long lasting that lasted to this very day. Lastly, they formed religion. Religion was very essential to them and their life style. They believed in multiple Gods form the different elements of nature. Hieroglyphics, jewelry, and religion are three very valuable legacies passed down from the Egyptians.
This book showed us the legacy of how the Egyptians used hieroglyphics. Hieroglyphics was a very important legacy from the Egyptians that helped the United States get were we are today. The alphabet was help brought up by the Egyptians by their hieroglyphics. The alphabet is used everyday in the United Sates. Hieroglyphics is the form of writing that the Egyptians used to communicate with one another. Hieroglyphics was drawn as pictures on the walls in the pyramids that were later discovered by archeologist. The pictures drawn by the Egyptians told stories about what may had went on during that time. It was very important that the Egyptians left behind those because it helped us in the future create the alphabet which creates all the words that we use today. The hieroglyphics were written in different types of pictures and different type of letter looking forms of writing. The archeologists and other experts such as scientists were also used to help determine the words and meanings of what the Egyptians meant.
Another legacy left behind from the Egyptians was there jewelry. In today’s society we wear a lot of different types of jewelry.
