“A Rose for Emilyâ€
Emily lived in this little town where everyone one knew about everyone. You couldn’t go about your day without knowing something that happened to someone in that town. More to say everyone is just so inquisitive. At least with Emily, I just personality think she is vexed with the town. They all assume her life how she lives just because she comes off as a dissolute person. Emily’s father was strict toward her, it was very rare to see her go out in the town or to shop for groceries. It was always Emily and her father in this big squarish house of theirs.
When Emily’s father died she felt so lacuna people in the town thought she was going crazy. The ladies decided to make a listless visit to Emily’s house to give their respect and condolence for her father’s passing. Emily of course responded back saying her father wasn’t dead at all. This went on for about three days until they finally got her father and buried him fast. Ever since his passing she had cut her hair short making everyone think petite of her. In the past she had a great aunt named Wyatt she had gone tremendously outrageous. So the townspeople thought since Emily went in a cope they figured it was ok. No one really knew the pain or loneliness she was going through. The ladies never really gave the time to be affable with Emily after the death of her father. Neighbors would complain to Judge Stevens about this awful odor coming from Miss Emily’s house. Judge Stevens didn’t know how to make this problem go away so he had a group of four men go out in the middle of the night and shower the house down with lime. About two to three weeks the smell went away finally leaving the neighbors to not complain anymore. Soon after there was the negro man that came into town his name was Homer Barron. This man was the light of the town until he meet Miss Emily. Homer Barron was a sapient man everyone in the town enjoyed his company. Whenever you see a gathering of people...
