The events of September 11, 2001 are burned into the minds of this generation. We have all been affected by this catastrophe. From the changes in security at airports to what one can or cannot carry in their luggage. The events of that day have changed our lives for generations to come.   When cumulative actions that happened several years earlier are studied, we get a greater picture of events that were about to unfold on that fateful day in September of 2001.
There are several compelling conspiracy theories, some that compete with each other, along with some wild conjecture. Looking at just the facts of the case proves that all of these are theories and conjecture with no hard facts and proof to back them up. A couple of these theories are: the government planned the attack and blamed it on terrorists; there was a satellite in space that fired a weapon on the towers destroying them, again a government conspiracy. These are just two of the many conspiracy theories. Looking at just the facts may be the best way to determine what really happened. To do this we will take a trip back in time to establish the timeline.

Not because the mainstream media can always be trusted but because this is the most popular form of reporting and many people can be skeptical when getting information from other sources. Some of these facts may be hard to believe. Please remember that each is reported by a major media source and can be easily verified with the original sources listed.
