The Fall of the House of Usher

After turning around and seeing that the house cracked from the frame and crumbled to the ground he noticed that there was nothing left but the blood-red moon and a dark cloudless sky he just stood there in awe from the dreary landscape. He just couldn’t believe what happened when he was inside the seemingly haunted house. The events that took place while he was visiting his close friend Roderick puzzle the narrator and he does not know what exactly to think about what he had just witnessed. He couldn’t believe that his best friend, who he was with for so many nights, just died in a castle which happened to collapse suddenly, which makes the narrator think that he never really knew his friend Roderick after all these years. After a few minutes of standing in the lonely yard where the house used to stand he decided to leave the town. He was out in the middle of no where and desperately wanted to forget about what he had seen and go find a new place to stay in a completely different town away from this haunted house. There was nothing but a small road and the dark night, where the blood-red moon, which also added to his fear of this place, did not give much light for him to see where he was going. He was lucky to not go to his left another ten feet because if he did he would have surely been dead since he was walking on the edge of the cliff, he did not realize he was this close to the edge because he could not even see four feet in front of him.
