Fargo is a movie based on true events that took place in Fargo, North Dakota.
Jerry works at his father-in-laws car dealership and gets himself into financial trouble.
Jerry is not close to his father-in-law at all and he gets no respect from him at all. He
tries many things to help his cause, none of which work. Out of desperation he devises
a plan to hire men to kidnap his wife and hold her for ransom. He planned on sharing
the money with the kidnappers, because he knew her father was wealthy and would
pay. After the kidnapping happens many murders occur in the area, so Marge
Gunderson is brought in to investigate the murders. Meanwhile everything is going
wrong with the kidnapping and it is all backfiring in Jerry's face when the kidnappers
ask for more money and then his father-in-law wants to be more involved with the
kidnappers and wants to deliver the money.
Fargo's intensity and the actors performances added to and already amazing
story. Fargo should been seen by everyone and this is a movie I would definitely
recommend to anyone. The Coen Brothers definitely know how to sustain the flow of
the movie and keep it interesting, their mixture of drama, comedy, and intensity makes
this movie an almost perfect movie. All the characters are believable and the
performances are superb. All the characters were very quirky and interesting, that
makes a movie so much more fun to watch.I always love the score in the Coen
brothers movies, it adds to the scenery and makes you think you are in the movie. I
was holding on for dear life and I couldn't wait to see what happened next. The trailer
alone made we want to see it.
