What is Art? Well to many people art is drawing, or painting a beautiful canvas, but in reality is more than that. In fact can be express in many ways and that is the case of First Friday where artists let their imagination run wild and express their arts in many shapes and forms. Coming to first Friday, people have to come prepare to expect the unexpected and be opened minded. In this celebration there are many things that contribute to this special day and make it worth its time and effort. For example, the different kind of food, live music, to different art expositions.
First Friday is celebrated every first Friday of the month. Unlike many other festivities, First Friday has its unique way of bringing together a variety of people. First Friday is almost like a bridge way for society to see the other side of the creativity that individuals have to show. Not only do the artists spend a rigorous amount of time preparing for this event, but they also have to wait for the criticism of the audience. The art exhibitions range from beautiful canvas to x-rays. Some of the beautiful painting conveys the mood of the artist others show a twisted mind set, where the paranormal becomes a different phenomenon. First Friday also develops the self motivation of individuals to pursue things that are sometimes out of reach, but with great determination it can be accomplished. Furthermore, some of the other interesting expo has x-rays, where they show different kind of lighting and is interesting to see the different shapes it makes. In my opinion it takes a lot of imagination to convert ordinary x-rays into something so magical and an unforgettable experience.
As the night rolls around First Friday then turns into something I call “Moving Fun†for every corner is filled with different vendors and different kind of stands.
