Make Responsible Choices



At my graduation dinner, my sister would be the one to stand up to speak about all of the significant strengths I contributed to my successful graduation from college. This is what I believe she would say:

• She will talk about my ability to multi task while attending college. While attending college, I worked a full time job to try to make ends meet. I have three beautiful teenage daughters that keep me very busy with everything that is going on in their lives. Not everyone has the ability to multi task when there is so much going on around them. I believe this is a very strong ability to have.  
• She will mention my determination. How determined I am in achieving good grades to gain a degree.   The determination I have to achieve my goals. She will mention my ability of wanting this and not letting anything get in my way. So many times, I have tried to attend college, it was as if I was on an obstacle course that I just couldn’t do because of circumstances in my life.
• My sister will mention my dedication to attending college. Many times she wanted to spend time with me and I couldn’t because of my obligation to doing school work.
• She will also mention how self motivated I am to do online schooling. To do online college you need to be very self motivated. If you have no self motivation, you will not make it through on-line college.
• I believe she would speak about my ability to stay focused on my schooling. School is very hard and you give up a lot to do it to be successful at it. A lot of people get frustrated, loose focus and quit.
