To search for a definition, either key the full word or just the first few letters into the ‘Search’ box. As the letters are keyed in, a list of probable words appears in the ‘Word/s’ box (this is called ‘word stemming’). Clicking on any of these brings up the matching definition in the ‘Definition’ box. Minimum system requirements Please note that our products are designed for a screen resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. On monitors set to a higher resolution, this will make things appear smaller. PC users can change the resolution by going to the Start button and selecting Settings—Control Panel—Display— Settings—Screen Area. Mac users can change the resolution by going to the Apple menu and selecting Control Panels then Monitors. If there are different resolutions available, make a note of the current setting, then slide the bar to/click on the one that is closest to (but not less than) 800 x 600. You can change back when you’re finished working with the Glossary.
