The reading is to inform one on why stricter gun control laws will not affect crime rate. In the paper is discussion over main points pertaining to the point that gun control is a bad idea. Some main points discussed are gun control today, Second Amendment law and history, criminals, purposes of a gun, Brady Registration Law, and the innocent. Some compelling information will be the possible effects over gun control both ways. For instance, if one were for gun control or against gun control. Everyone knows what gun control is, but we do not understand how are lives could be affected by a change. Covering how this will affect our lives will be most difficult. Not having enough facts and information can mislead one to vote on an issue without having a firm belief. Knowing the pros and cons will help one to decide if action needs to be taken. In addition will also help one to realize if the action will even result with less crime rate. Having the many important facts of gun control is not going to decrease the amount of deaths due to the violence with guns. Eventually one will realize there is evidence that change will produce a decrease in deaths.
Gun control is an important issue today rising with many people. Many argue the point of whether or not having a more strict gun control law will help. While Gun Control is what we need, Gun control is not a good idea. Criminals are not just going to give up their weapon. If criminals can carry a gun, then there should be no one stating that one could not own a gun. With the many reasons and issues over gun control.
