Healthcare Systems
The dirty little secret about our healthcare system is that there is not a system. Everyone likes to think that someone is carefully overseeing all medical care to ensure that everything is working correctly. The truth is our healthcare is not in any real system at all.   Rather, our healthcare system is a patchwork of different programs, political compromises government efforts, lobbying blitzes, ad campaigns, and outdated policies. Our healthcare system is consisted of many different systems that have been created up over time that have a tendency to not work well together and do not communicate with each other.   Our healthcare system is a mess. One thing that is certainly true about our healthcare system is that Americans do have some of the finest doctors, hospitals, and medical researchers in the world when it comes to treating illnesses and injuries.   Americans are fortunate to have many brilliant and talented people working in American medicine fields.   The healthcare system is much more than the people who work within it. Yet, individuals can not blame healthcare companies and politicians for our unorganized healthcare system.   Everyone needs to take some responsibility for this unorganized healthcare system because everyone has continually said at one point or another that he or she wants more healthcares but does not want to pay more for it.   The purpose of this paper has been to outline the differences in healthcare systems such as Medicaid, Health Maintenance Organization, and Medicare.
Medicaid is a government program that pays medical bills for eligible individuals with disabilities, pregnant women, parents of eligible children, and seniors with low incomes and resources.   The federal and state governments share the cost for Medicaid and help pay for some or all or these...
