Hospice care may be an unfamiliar service for some individuals. In this discussion, we will investigate hospice services, and how they communicate with patients.First, write five questions you would like answered about hospice care. You do not need to know the answers to your questions. Make at least two of your questions are related specifically to communication. For instance, you could ask: What models of grief do they use? Or how do they talk to children about dying?Next, research the answers to your questions on the Internet or by contacting a hospice facility in your area. For your Internet research, you can use a search engine like “Google” or you can go to the Web site, Medline Plus (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/medlineplus.html), and use the search tool on the Web site to find articles on hospice.Remember that this is a discussion and follow the discussion guidelines.
