While Hinduism does not have a uniting belief system there are many shared beliefs and practices or rituals among them. Hindus believe the soul is eternal and believe in practicing various rituals. The first being the belief of reincarnation; the cycle of births and deaths: the concept that a person can experience many lives in various forms. You can be reborn in any shape or form. Reincarnation is the result of ones desire to achieve liberation. After reincarnation, one must attain complete satisfaction to stop the circle of births and deaths. There is also the belief of one absolute being of multiple manifestations. This belief means that while there may be many manifestations of deities or spirits there is only one absolute being.
    Karma is another ritual; that every preceding action that has happened in your former life, will affect you in your future being. Karma follows you through each cycle of life, meaning each of your reincarnated lives all carry the same Karma (actions that have influence you, good or bad).. Hindus also believe in following the path of righteousness, called dharma. Dharma is the code of conduct in the Hindu scriptures. The codes of conduct are rules that are set forth for them to follow throughout their circle of life and death. If the Karma has been resolved, then they can move on to liberation, but if the Karma has not been resolved, then they will attain another circle of reincarnation.
    The cultural and societal influences that make the Hindu way of life and religion vital to those practicing it come mainly from outside factors. Other faiths, such as Christianity and Islam have sought to subjugate Hinduism over the centuries. As Hinduism is not an expansionist religion like Islam or Christianity, meaning Hinduism does not try or seek to dominate anyone or anything with their beliefs. It is vital for it to hold on to its traditions and easier to do so than in other religions because they are not interested in changing or...
