For the assignment I decided to compare and contrast the recent report about the Music R&B star Chris Brown and his outrageous outburst in the studio of Good Morning America the day of his live interview with Good Morning America host Robin Roberts. This story was on all three of the required news sites. I had first checked out the news site MSNBC.com and found a story on Chris Brown titled, “Chris Brown goes on Violent Rampage after Interview”. When I looked on MSNBC.com I quickly noticed how short the article’s content was, so I knew that I probably wouldn’t receive much information from this particular news piece. The article starts by stating Chris Brown appeared on the Good Morning America show and was infuriated! Instantly it gives me the impression he is being a violent piece of crap. With the name like MSNBC.com I expected for more information covering the story than just the main facts. The article does not explain anything except what Chris Brown had done after his interview with Robin Roberts.

Next news site I went on was FOXNEWS, and found a very similar story about Chris Brown that was called “Chris Brown could face charges following an alleged violent outburst at Good Morning America”. When I started reading this article the idea I got was more deeper than MSNBC.com. This article starts by not accusing Chris of losing control but simply alleged that he did. Reading the article from Fox News I felt as if I would get more understanding of why exactly he got so enraged. Fox News does go into detail sharing specific questions that were asked by Robin Roberts giving me a more thorough image of the atmosphere surrounding the entire studio that led to Chris Brown’s ultimate break down. Fox News went into a deeper explanation than MSNBC did.
