The internet has a growing source of information available to us all, and because of that the internet has reshaped the political world a great deal. The internet has reshaped the political landscape because the internet spreads information fast, politicians must stay in the know so they can react fast. Politicians need to be able to respond to gossip that comes with being in politics.
The availability of information on the Internet has effected how people view politicians and politics as a whole because the Internet informs and empowers Americans. The Internet can benefit politicians directly by having many tools on the internet to help them communicate with voters such as an e-mail distribution list, blog, twitter account, or a podcast. Because of how fast the internet spreads updates it has drawn more Americans into following them. Politics has changed the Internet because it's lightning fast and Politicians must be able to react quickly to what's happening in the world.
I think that the internet is a great way for politicians to use to their advantage...
