In Support of the Death Penalty

The position I have toward the dealth penalty is that I am a supporter of capital punishment and I take this position on opinion and facts.
First off, I am a mother of three children and two small grandbabies and if any man or woman was to harm them in anyway, I would want to see that individual punished to the fullest extent of the law. That might be biased on my part but that is my own opinion.
An alternative to capital punishment is life in prison without the possiblity of parole, but there are plenty of flaws to that. Many convicts convicted of murder outside prison have taken the lives of people inside prison. Examples are prison guards, fellow inmates, and if by chance they escape, they possibly take the lives of outside citizens, such as the case of Dawud Mu’Min. Laws change, parole boards change, and people tend to forget about the past.
Another reason for my position on capital punishment is that many bible versus states God’s views on capital punishment. Genesis 9:6 “Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.” The bible speaks of many of instances that the death penalty is a good idea. Num. 35:16-18 states “And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. And if he smite him with throwing a stone, wherewith he may die. And he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.
