Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is a United States based corporation providing diagnostic testing, information and services where its corporate headquarters located in Madison, New Jersey. It provides clinical laboratory services not only in the United States but in United Kingdom, Mexico, Puerto Rico, India, Ireland and in addition to service locations located in Brazil. Within United States itself, there are 40 laboratories. It is one of the largest clinical laboratory testing companies in the United States. The company has approximately 43 000 employees including some 900 M.D.s and Ph.Ds.  
Quest Diagnostics originated when laboratory glassware of Corning Glass Works spun off as a separate company on 1997. Quest Diagnostics is a combination of many different laboratories bought by Corning Glass Works.   In addition, Quest Diagnostics also supplying analysis kits for laboratories testing. Quest Diagnostics also has collaborative agreements internationally with various hospitals and clinics where it provides sales and marketing support for esoteric clinical testing and also acts as reference lab for clinic and hospital focuses in the area of anatomic pathology, gene-based testing and testing genetics or heritable diseases, oncologic and hematologic disorders, cardiovascular disease, endocrine system disorders, infectious diseases and toxicology. All of these performed at Nichols Institute.
The person that my friend and I interview is Dr. Hasnah Hamdan, Scientific Director of the Molecular Microbiology Lab, Quest Diagnostics with education background of Ph.D. in microbiology at Washington State University. She first worked with Nichols Institute until now when this institute became part of Quest Diagnostics....
