Opening:
The Linux command line is a very powerful tool, enabling one to perform many tasks much more quickly than they can be accomplished with a graphical interface.

Summary
In this unit, you were introduced to the CLI on a Linux system. You learned how to
create, remove, and navigate directories. You also learned about basic file manipulation
tasks, such as copying, creating, and editing files by using vi or vim. Finally, you
learned how to use the pipe (|) to send data from one command, or process, to another
for further processing and how to set permissions and create links to files.
