The name of the book is Wide Open, by Jeremy McGrath. This book has no awards of recognition. It’s an autobiography about his life as a motocross rider. The setting is mostly at a motocross track or some place to ride motorcycles.
The characters names are Jeremy McGrath, Jeff Emig, Skip Norfolk, Ryan Hughes, and Phil Lawrence. They all tie in together because they either race motocross or have a part in helping with the racing. He wants a full factory sponsorship to be a 250cc supercross rider.

He finally gets picked up on an amateur team and gets better parts and bikes. He is making his way up the ladder. He is racing in the 125cc pro class and winning a lot of races. He was finally a factory sponsored 250cc rider.
After he gets in he races his heart out. He wins some seasons and losses some too. He changes companies a few times in his career. He gets married to a woman named Kim. He settles down a little and rides X-Games and motocross. In 2003 he retires from full time racing. He continues to ride, but just not as...
