John Felix Anthony Cena Jr. was born in West Newbury Massachusetts on April 23, 1977. He is 240 lbs. and is 6’1 and full blooded Italian. John also has brown hair and beautiful baby blue eyes. He is the current WWE champion, a signed WWE wrestler and a rapper. His parents are John Cena Sr. (Johnny Fabulous) and Carol Cena. He has 4 brothers: Dan, Matt, Steve, and Sean. Before he became the star of the wrestling world he is today, John Cena was a terrific center for his college university, Springfield. He played college football throughout his time on campus. In 1999, John was voted Offensive Lineman of the year and the Associated Presses All American of the year. Despite devoting time to all of those activities, Cena still found time to study enough to graduate with a degree in exercise physiology. All along, though, he knew that his future would be in wrestling.
At the beginning of his career in the Ohio Valley Wrestling program (which is a contracted WWE program) he was seen and heard as an underdog and was always pinned and losing matches. By starting to rap rants about other wrestler’s shortcomings, however, he was soon able to gain himself a fan base and popularity. His rapping would come in handy a few years later down the road when he released his first album with his cousin featuring original hip hop beats and raps.
In 2001, John got his first time on television as an actor in the UPN miniseries show “Manhunt”. He played the role of “Big Tim Kingman” The reality show didn’t last but 6 episodes due to loss of stars, ratings and interest.
June 27, 2002, John Cena made his debut match on an episode of Smackdown!   There he answered an open challenge issued from Kurt Angle. Though he lost, Cena gained much respect and began his reputation that would follow him throughout his career.
