Technology Recommendations for Kudler Fine Foods Business Needs

Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to provide technology recommendations for the functional business area needs identified by the chosen virtual company. Kudler Fine Foods was chosen and the area of marketing was identified as a functional need for the company. Although Kudler Fine Foods has established a web presence, their web page does not provide enough detailed information pertaining to products, goods and services available at Kudler Fine Foods. This paper will provide recommended technology implementations to improve the functional business area of marketing.
Kudler Fine Foods is a specialty food store located in the San Diego metropolitan area. They have three locations (La Jolla, Del Mar and Encinitas)
Kudler Fine Foods strives to provide the freshest, the widest variety of local and imported, organic and non-organic products from around the world.
Currently there existing web presence does not provide adequate information for customers to make a sound decision based on availability of product information contained on their website.
Although Kudler Fine Foods has gotten off to a great start with a web presence, their overall mission and goal could be greatly improved with additional marketing and information provided on their web page. Kudler Fine Foods could gain a greater market base by providing more detail of products on their current website. According to Volpe (2009) “Our studies have shown more and more customers are going to the internet to buy, sell, and search for productsâ€. Kudler can make adjustments to their existing webpage to provide more detailed information about their products, goods and services.
Interactive banners, tours and hyperlinks will guide and allow customers to make a sound business decision when purchasing products, goods and services from Kudler Fine Foods. In addition the registering...
