Leaving home and the people I love will be hard.
Having to see what the future has in store for me will be exciting and will be a whole new trek for me.
Joining the Air Force and trying to "Aim High" has certain consequences, but I am ready to take on this military role.
Take me away to the wild blue yonder as I slowly fade away from the people I love.
Leaving my place on 3318 Las Huertas Road Lafayette, CA will be most difficult. The comfort that I experience every morning as I wake up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock.
The short fond memorable history that I had in that room will be forever in my mind as I take those memories into basic training for the next six weeks.
December 30, 1999 on a Wednesday morning, I ship out into my future. Waiting anxiously to meet my boot camp instructors and trying to psychologically preparing my mind to adjust to military ways.
