Live like Lions
When you look around you, you will notice every type of people, some victims of unjust while others are reasons of violence, some fighting for their rights, while others believe it’s sinful. To me fighting always depends on situation. It’s acceptable in some circumstances but it’s not always right. When I say fighting I mean struggling for justice, struggling for our human rights, struggling for our self-respect and struggling to defend one’s life. Fighting doesn’t always have to be physical it can be oral. Its weapons shouldn’t be hands and guns, it should be your brain and patience, it shouldn’t be curse words but it should be politeness and wise decisions. There are always certain situations where you have to stand up and protect your self but some times you have to keep your anger inside as well. It’s tolerable when you raise your voice for righteousness but when it comes to you being unfair and wrestling for no other reason than “because you feel like it†it’s not tolerable at all.
People saying “fighting for no reason†is wrong are absolutely correct. Fighting just make things worst and leads to chaos and crime. We all should avoid and run away from fighting as much as we can. If someone tries to attack our feelings or make us emotional we should just ignore them and mind our own business. It’s usually a way of peace and harmony. But imagine yourself getting 50s or 60s when you deserve A’s, imagine people snatching your money when you are in lunch line, imagine you being blamed for what you have never done, imagine your electric bill saying $500 when it should be $200, imagine someone hitting your car and you getting ticket. Are you just going to ignore these as well? Is ignoring fighting for what is wrong, reasonable here? If it is than Dr. king should have just stood back and ignore fighting for his unalienable rights. But he didn’t do that, instead he fought, but not with violence but with “soul...
