Who is responsible for the downfall of Macbeth?

In the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare ,There were main people who manipulated Macbeth toward His downfall.. Macbeth was a victorious warrior, and when the play begins Macbeth and his good friend Banquo are returning from a successful battle. But Macbeths success takes a   wrong turn when he and Banquo meets the witches on the heath. The conversation and relationship that Macbeth establishes with these supernatural beings plays a part in the Macbeth's downfall as does his wife, Lady Macbeth. She knows herself to be important for power and consequently pushes her husband towards his own downfall. But Macbeth too must take responsibility for the way in when he eventually ends his life.

The witches have a role in Macbeths downfall and played an extremely powerful part in his downfall. Where at the beginning of the play the witches chose to meet Macbeth,they later meet Macbeth and Banquo. They played around with Macbeth's mind and filled it with tempting prophecies of him being King of Scotland. “All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Glamis!   All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Cawdor!   All hail, Macbeth! That shalt be king hereafter!”(Act 1 Scene 3). After meeting with the Witches Macbeth got the thane of Cawdor the right very next day, Macbeth was surprised and couldn't believe what he just received from the king. Then he couldn't wait to tell the good news to his dear Lady Macbeth. Not too long after this, Macbeth plot to kill his enemies so he can get what the witches had told him.   Soon after that, people start dying. Macbeth kills his best friend to stop him from getting his fortune from the witches. Macbeth was haunted by Banquo's ghost while at a dinner banquet.   Once again the witches prophecy comes true. This scares Macbeth.   For in the witches fortune telling, they tell of   Banquo's children gaining the throne, and his danger with McDuff."Macbeth! Macbeth! Macbeth!...
