People express their opinions on different types of media every day. These views and opinions affect the viewers in some type of way. Media affects how people dress, how people act or how people think. It gives the viewer knowledge and information which is important. Without these opinions and views we would not have an opinion or view our selves.
The way people dress is sometimes affected by the media. There are commercials all the time about new clothes and new styles. If someone looks up to media to get ideas then the commercials about clothes will tell them how to dress or what to wear. One day on Facebook my friend bought new shoes and he posted the picture. So that gave me his opinion in styles of shoes and I also wanted to buy shoes like his after that because I wanted to try something new. This shows how media affected my opinion.
There are television shows that children watch which display violence. Depending on how the child is raised the media could affect the way he behaves. If a child is young and he has not been properly taught how to act then a violent act on TV could teach him something wrong. When I was 10 I always used to watch TV with my brother. We would watch all types of television shows. One day we saw a sword fight on TV and it got us really excited to we got two pieces of wood and acted like we were fighting each other with swords. We were having fun till my brother hit me too hard and I started bleeding. This personal incident displays how media could affect the way people act.
The way people think can definitely be affected by media in many situations. There are many commercials that give the viewer information about politicians. If someone goes to vote and they have no knowledge of who to vote for then the commercials with have a great impact on the vote. If I see a commercial about a politician that shows he has done something wrong then that will change my opinion about him and I will most likely not vote for him.
Media affects all...
