A Modern Proposal For Sports          
Over the years sports have taken the world by storm. But what has it ever really done for you? It has shown us a world where adults play a game that use to be for love, but now will move city to city for a matter of pennies. Do you want your children’s role models be over paid “athletes” that claim the life they live is not easy and not admirable by anyone. It’s easy to say that as they drive away in their 100,000 dollar car way to fast, but don’ fear anything because they believe their bulletproof. It must be nice having a get out of jail card when you need it. No a tough life isn’t boarding a private jet and flying first class eating lobster and drinking sharpen. A tough life is a family of four, so poor they can’t afford to eat, and must choose between paying a bill or feeding their family. That’s a tough life not working six months of the year and your only worry is what the media reports on and what to eat for lunch.
So you’re trying to tell me the hard working tax payers of Florida will give their money to help pay for a new   stadium for the Boston red sox, even though there is a fine stadium already located in downtown ft. Myers?   I guess that’s not good enough for the sox that until 2004 were the laughing stock of baseball finally breaking the curse of babe Ruth by winning the World Series. Well my proposal is to not build their precious stadium and if they choice to go Sarasota so be it. Actually while we’re at it lets just dismantle major league baseball. So we can see these million dollar athletes houses go into foreclosure and struggle to live in this world today just like everyone else and see how they like it. Anyway the MLB is second to hockey as he most irrelevant sport in our country today, and its Americas past time? Personally, I would rather sit and watch major league soccer I would have a better chance of not falling asleep. Who wants to watch a game that takes well over three...
