Since the Industrial Revolution modern technology has benefited many countries, to improve their standard of living. However, in today’s society modern technology plays a big role. During these past few years technology has expanded and evolved, in many ways and is most certainly better than before. The generating of new thoughts and ideas has brought technology to its current state-always improving to provide mankind the life of utmost ease. Hence, the development and enhancement of technologies have brought the world to the era of modern technology. Modern technology is the new and improved machinery that most people feel, to make life easier and less time consuming. Like most people I too believe that modern technology is the way to go. Modern technology not only has improved our standard of living, while making us more time efficient, but it has also made revolutionary steps forward in the field of medicine.
Everything has a positive and negative effect on our lives, and so does technology. Technology may be very helpful, but it can sometimes be a hindrance to society. For example, some people use modern technology to create the negative things of mankind. They create world destruction weapons, such as nuclear and atomic bombs. These weapons can ruin life, if used in the wrong ways. Also, modern technology could cause a job scarce because people feel that they might lose their jobs, as technology might replace them. And the final drawback of modern technology is that it builds industrialization development, which in turn has the effects of polluting our world. It is a known fact that modern technology can be a hindrance to society. However, with all the wrong, there is enough right that gives balance to this controversy. For instance, when modern technology pollutes our world, there will be modern technology that is built to contradict this motion.
