The multi-factional model looks at our health and illnesses that might be affected by multiple factors, which include: Biological factors, environment factors, sociocultural factors, personality, behavior and stress.   The multi-factional model gives detail that explains why an individual may get ill easier than others.   If we as humans knew what might be causing us to be ill they would be better prepared to take care of themselves and become healthier.   An individual’s health problems may be contributed to many factors inside of the multi-factional model.   Some examples of this are a person behaviors, smoking, drinking, and their diet with stressor that we live with on an everyday bases. The stressor may come from getting married, body aches and pains and frustrations.   Psychological factors and our behavior play a part in determining our health.   For us to be healthy we need to take steps to reduce the chance of developing certain diseases like hypertension and high blood pressure.   If they go untreated hypertension and high blood pressure can cause coronary heart disease.
