My Business Plan Using a Web Site

Introduction
I plan on opening a business one day and would like to use the Internet to promote my business.   Most companies these days whether small or big have a web site to sell products and or provide information on their company.   I feel I would need to do the same thing in order to be successful in my business.   The first thing I would do is build a web site.   The web site can be used in many ways.   To name a few, I can sell products, provide a way for customers to track their packages, view order status, send emails concerning problems or issues, provide information, and give a search tool for easy navigation.   I can market my products by advertising on my web site and at the same time, I can sell my products online.   I will present my plan in a detailed format with some of the features and layout of my web site.

Design and Layout
The design and layout must present a professional appearance.   A company’s web site is the backbone of how people view your company.   This is the first impression as well as a lasting impression people will have about your business.   Since I am not a web designer and do not possess the skills to become one, I will have to have outside help.   My idea is to give a detailed plan to a web designer so he or she will understand my goals as well as my intentions.  
The design and layout will be a combination of having a lot of information on my web site without giving the appearance of being crowded.   The company symbol will be displayed on top of the web page.   There will be links following the company symbol for products, company information, customer service, tracking, and contacts.   The main page will have a brief explanation of what products we are selling and the things available on the web site.   I will use flash technology to present the user with an experience of visual representation of the company’s goals and purpose.   This will be in addition to the company link on the web page.
