My Lost Wallet
A wallet is a precious item in which most people carry things, like money for everyday life. If someone were to lose their wallet, that person would probably be offset for the rest of the day or until it is found. Losing your wallet for a long period of time could cause a great impact in a persons’ attitude such as being cranky or depressed. Maybe something of great sentimental value is in that wallet. This individual could have these feelings for a long time
depending on the length of time the wallet is lost. When that wallet is found, it brings a tremendous amount of joy.
I normally keep anything that may be of great interest to me in my wallet so I would know exactly where to look for it when it is needed. I would keep important documents such as my photo id/ drivers’ license, bank card and credit card along with photos of my
family. I am very good about always having my wallet and never losing it until recently.
This summer, my family, friends and I went to Kings Island. I drove with my wallet and I took it everywhere I went, like I normally would. Well, when someone doesn’t have pockets on their clothing, it’s hard for them to keep their wallet without losing it. I was carrying my wallet and keys for the car when we left the hotel, I set them both on top the car as I was waiting for my girlfriend. When my girlfriend came we both sat in the car, I then realize I don’t have the key for the car so I reach and took it off the top of the car leaving my wallet there. As we were driving for about half a mile before I realized I didn’t have my wallet so I pulled the car over to the side of the road. We looked for one intense and agonizing hour and all we found were two gift certificates I had received for my birthday one week ago. Finally, we gave up searching for my dear wallet. Losing my wallet made me depressed for the rest of the day. I could not believe I did something so stupid.
