Nature Is Produced

 We, human beings have been studying nature for many years, and have come up with different knowledge on all aspects and elements of nature through engaging nature over time. There are vast differences between whether the knowledge is produced or discovered; when the element is discovered, it is already waiting upon someone to discover it, it is real and it is the truth. We can't change anything of it. However, when the knowledge is produced, it is abstract; our presumed knowledge might not be real or maybe it's partially real given that we have limited understanding of nature and our views of defining things are different based on our different backgrounds, environments and the values we hold. And the knowledge we produced can be changed and improved. In the future as our knowledge keeps expanding wider, and the aspects that matters to us is different from the one before then the knowledge we hold is changed. Therefore, we cannot assume we discover the knowledge, but produce the knowledge depends on the differences that matter to us. 
    
    We name and categorize elements to make differences that matter to us. As Monica mentioned that "We start to know nature by naming and classify kinds of things". We didn't discover these names but produced them; produced taxonomy and construct them for particular purposes. We produce the names, the taxonomy for us to explore nature and what we need to pay attention on through practical engagement with it. However, like Monica stated "People recognize and name the same real discontinuities in nature, but the discontinuities we pay attention to are not the same for everyone." People have different perspectives and understandings of nature and people perceive the world in different ways based on how we engage with it and how our culture influences our view of the natural world.
