Natures Spirit

Natures Spirit
The familiar light of the sun is gone and the light of the moon and stars gives its glow on the swaying grass. Crickets keep a rhythmic and subtle tone with the croaking of the toads. The small lake makes no noise but keeps the atmosphere fresh to my senses. The small warm breeze carries a smell of a mixture of this place that gives me peace. I hear I distant splash tells me that a fish lives near by. Where I was stressed is a calming. The hairs on the back of my neck do not rise because of anger or fear but because of the unsettling calm this place gives. Its spirit resides in everything and is everything. It tell the spider to make a web. It gives the cricket its melody and the grass its flexibility. The common man would be nothing without this spirit. It is in us when we feel hunger, pain, fear, and even love. It can take and give as it pleases. The calming of a simple orchestra of a grassy field at night or it be fury filled winds of the angry beast that rides the waves. It is a beautiful spirit, a vengeful spirit, and loving spirit but most of all it is your spirit. Before I left this place I needed something. A memory is   all   that i needed. To take somthing from this common grail would be wrong after all its given I have taken enough. I will the this place in the same state that I have found it.
