New cities have been sprouting out since the moment people found convenience living with each other. Although urbanization provides more people with the opportunity to live more conveniently, it harms the eco-system to an alarming extent.

Firstly, because of the ever increasing process of urbanization, some animal habitats have been demolished in order to build facilities for human beings. Roads have been set up in order to support the urban transportation system. While at the same time, some animals have been blocked off from their former places to find food and water. What is more, it has been proved by some scientists that because of human activities, some animals are pushed to the edge of extinction. And once a species is wiped out of the land, a chain effect will occur to the other animals.
