Organizational structures can vary drastically for each company.   Illustrated here are the functional differences in each company that employs the members of Learning Team A there are 5 members to learning team A, four of which are able to report on a company. The one who could not report on a company is organizing the following paper. Each member is within the same or adjacent time zone in the northern regions of the United States.
      is an LPN, who works for Opportunities for Otsego in rural upstate New York.   monitors all health documentation of the mothers and children enrolled in Early Head Start. OFO is a multi-program federally funded agency that contains several large programs, the largest being Head Start, a child development program for three to five year olds. The other programs operated under the “umbrella “of OFO, include: Early Head Start; Women, Infants and Children; Weatherization, Building Healthy Families; Violence Intervention; Wheels to Work; Homeless Shelter and Home Heating Assistance Program. OFO has a functional, horizontal management structure. A Board of Directors in conjunction with an executive director governs the operation of OFO. Each program has its own director or shared director, supervisor/managers and other needed specialists and employees.
      Running adjacent with the above mentioned programs are the fiscal and accounting administrative staff. The human resources part of OFO assists the fiscal and accounting staff in the hiring, termination and educational training of all the employees of the agency (Bateman, 2009). So, this agency could also be considered a divisional type of management. In recent years, OFO has undergone a transformation and has a less layered management style (Sandberg, 2005).
