The role that psychology has played in understanding and managing health problems, such as
menstrual problems, and cancer, would first of all be by looking into personality differences and
how one person’s personality may differ from another causing them to act differently to stressors one may be able to absorb more stress which may lead them to be able to avoid different health obstacles, over a person who has difficulty coping with life stresses. Therefore, there body may face even more psychological effects than unusual. Psychological factors are key essentials of how a person functions, or deals with the situation. There are many factors of why these situations are harder for some over others to compact. Your life and what is going on in it determines how you prepare for certain situations.
Many women bodies are different in terms causing them to undergo a common physical problem. Premenstrual syndrome (PMS), which may produce psychological symptoms, such as depression, mood swings, sudden tearfulness, anxiety, irritability, a sense of loss of control, and the sense of loss of ability to cope. Although menstruation is a natural biological process some women may experience discomfort during, and before this time. During this time woman may also experience headaches brought on by menstruation. The headache causes a chain effect leading to irritability, because one may be feeling so bad. The psychological part comes in through the areas of being in pain causing some women to become angry, and feeling like they can’t cope. Studies show that some women can contract with the changes in their body, as well as their mind. This depends solely depends on factors such as establishment of weather you are in generally good health; things like appropriate weight based on her height, also by having low stress and social economic levels.
