For each of three developmental domains: physical, cognitive, and social/personality, identify two major changes or challenges associated with that developmental stage (adolescence, young adulthood, middle adulthood, and late adulthood).

Adolescence:   the time between childhood and adulthood. | A noticeable change of physical development is a growth spurt which may last 2-3 years. The adolescent may have a growth of 8 to 12 inches.Sexuality maturity also known as Puberty affects boys in a variety of ways such as deeper voice, acne, increased testosterone, and ejaculation.   In girls round breasts may begin to form, public and underarm hair, menstrual periods, and high levels of estrogen, the female sex hormone. | Around the age of 11 or 12 much adolescence will develop the process of formal operational stage of cognitive development.   This is where the adolescence has the ability to hypothesize, carry out arguments with a logical argument, and classify the argument.   Two important cognitive developments are the imaginary audience (is where the adolescent sees themselves as the center of attention) and personal fable (the adolescent may take risk or show off) when it comes to adolescent egocentrism. | Much adolescence wants to become more independent from his or her parents, which leads to fighting about homework, money, chores, curfews, or dating.   Some adolescents may be involved in risky behavior such as sexual activity, driving, or substance abuse. |
Young Adulthood:   the period where individuals may establish himself or herself as individuals. | Many individuals are at his or her height of sensory reaction time, strength, sharpness, and fitness including cardiovascular.Some athletes such as gymnasts may view her body as going downhill in her twenties because of the loose of flexibility, suppleness, and the...
