Both American Diabetes Association and Stonyfield Farms are two wellness websites.   American Diabetes Association is a non profit website.   Founded in 1949 the American Diabetes Association has programs in all 50 states and District of Columbia.   This website appeals to those who want to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of those who have diabetes.   Stonyfield Farms is owned by Samuel Kaymen an authority on organic and bio-dynamic agriculture and Gary Hirshberg an environmental activist, windmill-maker and entrepreneur.   Stonyfield Farms is the leading organic yogurt maker.   This website appeals to those who want to want to feel good about themselves by consuming the high quality all natural organic products.
The American Diabetes Association is a great site with information on nutrition, fitness, diabetes prevention and research.   It promotes diabetes prevention and treatment, a diet of healthy choice foods based on the diabetes food pyramid. Exercise and weight loss is also recommended. As I review the American Diabetes Association website I am extremely interested on reviewing all the information on Pre-Diabetes.   54 million people in the United States have pre-diabetes, which means that their body is already having long term healthy effects for the heart and circulatory system.   If one can manage their blood glucose levels in the pre-diabetes stage then they can delay or even prevent diabetes from ever developing.   This is a huge important statistic and with proper nutrition and physical activity can be prevent.
