The Secret - Responce Paper

The Secret-
Response Paper
The movie, “The Secret”, sounds as if though it would be a exciting and compelling movie, where as actually it is the complete opposite.   The whole point of the movie was obviously to let everyone know about this so called “secret”, which in my opinion is not so much of a secret at all. The movie shared with you the theory that if one focuses all their attention on any one thing that they desire they will eventually receive it.
Well now for one thing, the movie made it unclear at times that you actually may have to do some work and put some effort into getting what you want. For example, they used a scenario where a young girl is looking through a window at a gorgeous, most likely expensive necklace. They than proceed to use corny graphics to show that she is focusing all her attention on that necklace, the scene than flashes to the next day where her boyfriend gives her a present which I’m sure you can guess what it is. They seemed to make this big deal out of something everyone should be reminded everyday of their lives.
Overall I have to say that the problem I had with the movie was not the message they were trying to reveal, but more the actual movie itself. I feel that I would have been more...
