Ah, it was this nightmare again. I had been having this nightmare over and over again, to the point where I knew from start to finish the words that were said. But every time the way I felt and the actions I took were still the same, I couldn't change it.

I trembled uselessly as I hid myself in a small cupboard, though I had no idea why I was doing either. This nightmare made no sense and I was in the body of a small little four-year old girl. But even though I had experienced this nightmare time and time again, I had to admit, I was still scared. So scared that I felt that my heart was about to explode. Tears flooded from my eyes uncontrollably, down my flushed red face as I stared helplessly at a woman and a man who laid lifeless and cold on the ground. The two of them were beautiful, though their lifeless beauty made me drown in more tears. I could feel it in my heart, they were important to me but I was oblivious to who they even were. I continued to watch the people I loved but never knew. They were soaked within a sea of their own dark crimson blood. A tall figure standing above them, it was too dark to see anything, but his eyes shone like bright stars. Dark sapphire blue, filled with sorrow and despair. A high pitched chiming voice rang through my ears, disrupting the blood stained silence.

"Let's go, already. Our job is done." Wailed a woman unpatiently, from downstairs.

"Yes." The tall figure called back shamefully. He turned back to face the woman and the man and kneeled down beside them.

"I'm sorry." He murmured, his voice was charming and beautiful. Yet the way he apologized made his voice seem like he was about to cry and scream. Before I could blink he was out the door. Once I could not hear any sounds, I crept out of the cupboard silently and ran down the stairs as fast as my quivering legs would take me.

I didn't want to look at the dead bodies another second because I knew if I did, I would never leave their sides. The smell of...
