Societies are based on morals and traditions that are usually defined and passed along through the generations. This is a typical definition and common enough to see in America where people from all over the world gather in spots like Santa Clara. I have seen many different ethnicities that other people will never hear of in their lives. The two primary cultures are from the Sub-Asian Continent, mostly India, and the Middle East. There are many others such as Afghanistan, Vietnam (or Cham people), various countries all over Africa and South America. The reason why all of these people can be found in Santa Clara working and living together may be due to a variable reason, like opportunity, but they share one thing in common in the community, we are Muslim.
Aside from culture many people cling to this religion believing that it is the one thing that will keep them alive and safe in this world. Such a powerful emotion can really limit many persons’ minds and affect the way they view each other. For example, an obvious mistake like not dressing what one may say is proper to the place of worship is made, and the rest of the people who notice begin to stress. “If this religion is going to save you then how can you come dressed in such ways?†is the basis to the many, and the majority being mislead, reactions to such an event. Regardless if made purposefully or mistakenly such deviance from religion will cause reaction, over time it creates a tight rigidness. For the reason stated my target group will not be a specific age or culture, but the people who are included in this and possibly other religions. I would assume that there will be many who are considered as upper-middle class or upper class on a Social Economic Status scale, with income over 70,000 dollars a year per family, because the place of worship is also connect to a private school with many children, all of whom are Muslim.
