Abstract
Sudden Valley has a large Air Force Base this is very close to a very large gasoline and airplane fuel pumping complex which is shared by a dozen private oil companies. With the possibilities of a terrorist attack from foreign or domestic terrorists there is a great need to have a plan implemented to protect the community in the event of such an attack within our community. A meeting must be conducted; but who should be included and how should it be conducted to place emphasis on protecting our community? Involving these people in developing a comprehensive plan is vital; the need for input, data, information, thoughts, and ideas from the community members and others is important to implementing the plan.

Sudden Valley Chief of Police is cordially inviting your staff to a community meeting in which we would discuss crime prevention in our community. Since the present Chief of Police has taken over a year ago many things have changed within the department. Sudden Valley Police Department has implemented a problem-solving policing to better serve the community and the citizens that live within it. Sudden Valley Police Department has implemented D.A.R.E. at the Sudden Valley Middle School; this has brought much success and given the students an awareness of drugs and the harms it can do to a human. Due to the success of this program; the school administration asked if Sudden Valley Police Department would assist in a program for the Sudden Valley High School for a School Resource Officer.
