Story of Sir Cloudesley Shovell

      Heroe of this story, Cloudesley Shovell, first went into sea as a cabin boy in a ship. Later he decided to focus on marine navigation studies. Owing to his able seamanship and bravery he became a favourite within British Royan Navy. Shovell got quick promotions in succession and later became the Commander-in-chief of the British fleets. The Knight’s life ended near the shores of The Isles of Scilly in 1907.

|                                                         |through this area. Scilly is famous for its danger to shipping and its many       |
|                                                         |shipwrecks.                                                                       |
