MY STUDENT SURVIVAL GUIDE
When attending college for the first time many students find it useful to use a student survival guide. I have made this guide for myself to use when I am having difficulty locating information, and to remind me of what I need to get done during my time at Axia.
USING AXIA’S EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES
One of the most useful resources that Axia has is the Axia Online Library. The library link is conveniently located at the top of the student page and opens up many tools that are extremely helpful when writing papers for class. After clicking on the library link it will take you to a page where you can link to the Center for Writing Excellence which is where the plagiarism checker and the grammar and writing guide can be found. You can also get to the Center for Mathematics Excellence through this page if you need to practice your math skills or could use a tutor. If you connect to the University Library homepage you will find a vast variety of tools from article databases, books, theses, and encyclopedias to test guides and preparation.
