The 2010 Super Bowl is being broadcasted throughout the country by CBS. This is the station’s 17th year airing the event. CBS is well prepared for the big day with 4 reporters (Jim Natz, Phil Simms, Steve Tasker and Solomon Wilcots) and 500 other employees. Their 50 cameras are ready to capture every moment of action not only for the United States but for the whole world. The Armed Forces Television televises the game to 175 countries. The NFL also provides a broadcast to more than 185 countries in 30 different languages. This wide area for transmission makes the Super Bowl one of the top 10 most watched television programs of all time.
This large audience makes television’s role a significant one in attracting even more viewers. The role of television is to create a visual and auditory preview the week leading up to the Super Bowl.
One of the reasons some people tune into the Super Bowl is to watch the commercials. This year there was not an extensive type of products. However, there were some memorable commercials that will go down as some of the best in Super Bowl’s advertisement history. Here is a list of every commercial aired during the game.
