While attending Axia there are plenty of educational resources for me to take advantage of. There is a ton of writing involved in my college courses, so my plan is to always considered submitting my papers to the Center for Writing Excellence; this will benefit me greatly. I am also going to download files such as, the appendixes. By downloading I can have easy access to the appendixes, and by doing so I am at an advantage.

    Navigating the University Library is a task that I attempt to do daily. The most effective way to accomplish a search in the library; in my opinion, is to simply just search your topic. When indentifying key information within articles I always look for what the title of the article is, who is the author or authors of the article, and determine if the article, and determine if the article was peer-reviewed or not.

    Before I begin working on any of my assignments I always keep academic honesty in mind. Axia expects students to give credit where credit is due, and to avoid copying the work of others. When I write I stay clear of plagiarism by remembering the consequences of plagiarism. If a student gets caught plagiarizing on an assignment; the student will not receive credit for that assignment. Also the student will possibly be expelled from school.

      Avoiding plagiarism is of utmost importance to me. The tips that I use to avoid plagiarism are; I will always include a reference page to provide information about the sources that I have mentioned, or I include in-text citations to provide credit to the original author. The best tip I have for myself is to just put my writing in my own words.
