3. The video mentions the theories of Maslow, Herzberg, and McGregor. Not mentioned are several of the alternatives that postdate these classics. With what you have learned from the video about Tellabs, which of the other motivational theories do you believe relevant to this organization? Why?

Answer Question # 1:
In order to motivate employees, Tellabs had clear the concept "motivation principles" and knew that it was important to have motivated their employees to grow as a company and get continuous improvement. Therefore, Tellabs’ managers focused in the employees’ needs, motivating them to achieve common goals, recognizing their efforts thru rewards and praising his work continuously. Satisfied employees are more productive such as one of several “motivation principles” used was with their participation in solving problems with their own ideas, generating them to feel productive, respected and willing to grow with the corporation.

My point of view is if I were a Manager would use "do the best". As long as you have your employees motivated, respected, with appreciation, treat them as members and not just as a simple worker, in addition to have employees satisfied, happy and appreciated, certainly their performance will be better everyday.
