The second amendment to the constitution protects our right as U.S. Citizens to carry guns. However, at what point do we need to make an exception to that rule? This essay will examine the connection between gun related crimes effects suffered in society today. I intend to take an in depth look at both sides of this controversy which include who should be blamed, what congress is doing to be tougher on gun control and protect the rights to carry guns. Gangs with guns, Texas laws, how gun related activity influences juvenile gangs. Illegal possession of fire arms is on the rise and need stricter policies and the methods used by Law enforcement agencies to reduce illegal firearm possession.
Congress battles back and forth creating laws that are tough on gun related crime while remaining fair to the rights of citizens who legally carry fire arms.
